Desert Feet Tour - October 2011, Kimberley Region
A group called the Desert Feet Tour headed off into remote communities in Western Australia. It was an amazing tour and so awesome to be part of it. If you would like to find out more, please head to http://www.desertfeettour.com.

Bungy Jumping in Taupo, New Zealand - The Great Crusade
Bouncy Castle Madness - Exploring the inside of a bouncy castle!
And yes I am sporting a sexy Mo for Movember. Please don't try this yourself! It's very dangerous... and heaps of fun.
A classic game of soccer
Filmed at our weekly friendly soccer get together. Such fun!
Magic Water Tour, Lima (Peru)
The Magic Water Tour is a water fountain park in Lima, Peru where you can actually watch video, lasers and light all interacting with water jets in an incredible display of motion and sound. There are also interactive fountains and a maze fountain, just two of 13 in total.
Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina - shot with the Nikon D7000
This is one of a series of videos I will be putting up from our travels in South America. The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of 3 glaciers in the world which is not receding and tourists flock there to see large sections of ice calve into the water. We even went on an ice trekking tour along the inner ridges of the glacier itself.
Desert Feet Tour 2010
In October I was lucky to be invited to join the Desert Feet Tour as a musician, and also to help out with some of the media coverage. Here is a video which gives a good feel for what we did on tour, some of the motives behind the ambitious project and some of the outcomes. Most of the video and photos were taken by me, but also there is some footage and photos taken by Damien Thornber, the tour coordinator.
Although the music workshops and concerts were great fun, and we were welcomed onto the traditional owners land, it was the beauty of the people, the kindness and strength and incredible culture which really amazed me. I think if every Australian could have this experience, Australia would be a much happier, stronger and prosperous place to live for all.
Spooky Men's Chorale Music Video
I chose this song because it seemed a fun and was obviously an important issue in men's lives. Just as women wouldn't like it if you said their haircut needed more practicality, men don't like it if you stand between them and their tools. This video came second in the spooky men's video competition.
DIY Underwater Video Camera Housing at Ningaloo Reef
When at Gnaraloo, the south tip of Ningaloo reef we went for a bit of a snorkel. Luckily I had a cheap plastic container with me to make my $4 underwater video camera housing. The results were quite amazing.
Perth Hail Storm
On March 22nd 2010, the thermometer rose to about 30 degrees Celsius moments before the biggest hail storm I have ever witnessed erupted over head causing over $1,000,000,000 worth of damage which is greater than the previous Melbourne hail storm. Within minutes, cars were dented, window screens smashed, roofs blown away, apartments flooded, drains blocked, powerlines and trees blown over.
It is the most severe weather I have ever seen, and perhaps is a wake up call to us living in a wealthy society that human induced climate change is becoming more threatening and more severe. Later this year we have seen devastating floods in Pakistan 3 times the size of any previous flooding, fires and drought in Russia, plus a number of other world wide climate changes. This is only the tip of the iceberg and without serious change, there will be many more disasters such as our Perth hail storm.
